Fall weddings are seriously magical! It's my personal favorite season to have a wedding- the rich colors, the cozy vibes, the crisp air. And of course, with the change in season comes a change in makeup! Whether you're the bride, a bridesmaid, or a guest, fall makeup is all about warmth, richness, and a touch of drama. Here are
1. Glowing Skin with a Dewy Finish
Even though matte finishes are great for summer (especially if you're in the chicago humidity) , fall is the time to bring out that dewiness! Start with a hydrating primer to keep your skin from getting dry in the cooler weather. Then, go for a luminous foundation to keep that fresh, glowing look without getting too shiny. A cream highlighter on the cheekbones, brow bones, and tip of the nose will give you that soft, glow that looks amazing in photos.
2. Warm, Earthy Eyeshadow
Fall is all about those earthy tones, and your eyeshadow should definitely be too! Think bronzes, warm browns, burnt oranges, and deep plums. You can blend them into a soft, smokey look that’s still super romantic. Add a touch of gold or champagne shimmer on the lids for a bit of extra sparkle – it’ll make your eyes pop, especially in low, cozy lighting (makes me think of pumpkin spice!).
3. Defined Brows and Lashes
Full, defined brows are a must to balance out the look. Grab a brow pencil or powder and fill in those sparse areas, keeping it natural but polished.
4. Bold, Berry Lips
Fall weddings are perfect to go bold with your lip color. Deep berries, rich burgundy, or even a plum lip can totally steal the show. If that’s not your style, you can still go with a soft rose or nude with warm undertones – it’s low-key but still feels perfect for fall.
5. Soft Blush with a Touch of Bronzer
Don’t forget the blush! Soft peach or dusty rose tones give you that natural, flushed look. A light dusting of bronzer will keep your complexion warm and add just the right amount of definition.
With these fall makeup tips, you'll be ready to glow and look stunning for any autumn wedding!
